Home is where the heart is.
Make yourself at home.
Home sweet home.
“Home”: a word that instantly evokes feelings of comfort, warmth, a personal sense of belonging, security and peace. Home is not just a place, but a feeling. Sometimes when a family member is seriously ill, the relationship with home can be disconnected. Many families must travel afar to seek treatment and for those with children needing care, the Ronald McDonald House recreates that connection by being a home away from home.
Will you help me fund a home to keep families together during difficult times?
This year, I’ll once again lead as a team captain in my 17th year of involvement with the annual Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Hockey Challenge event! We’re back live in-person and I’m excited to play hard to raise money for the many families staying at the House. It’s fun playing to win, but the victory is even greater when you can play your sport to help others!
Please Help Me Score My Goals!
Together, let’s win in our game of providing a home for families so that they can focus on their child’s healing, instead of worrying about basic shelter needs. After all, there’s no place like home!
